Do you plan to grow?

Find an academic who can help to provide you with new perspectives and development potential

Academics from the Faculty of Arts at Aarhus University are good at finding solutions based on human behaviour, needs, values, norms and ethics. Our MA graduates have expertise when it comes to including the human factor, for instance when you need to create stronger institutions and greater flexibility, or alternative models for growth.

Academics from the Faculty of Arts, the humanities, theology and education, can contribute to a wide range of tasks and cope with challenges such as those arising in the fields of internationalisation, digitalisation, health and welfare systems and information and communication technology.

"Having Andreas, who comes with other competencies, gives us completely new opportunities as a company. If we can sell one 3D printer a week, then the sale can actually pay Andreas' employment with us, so he has actually created a job for himself. We would not have had the skills or opportunities to make a good webshop without him"

- Lasse Nitschke, owner, Nilas3D

"We are facing the launch of a number of new products, but are in doubt about what the market and the target groups look like. So it is a huge help for us to be able to get a highly educated employee to work on just that task for a period of time. The professional and completely new knowledge that Christine brings will definitely lift our decision-making basis to a higher professional level"

- Mette Vernegaard, owner, Dermaspace

"First and foremost, academics can work independently and are good at getting the grip of things and acting on them quickly. And here Mathias is no exception. It has also been clear that it has been important for him to make a positive impression, and he has succeeded. I asked him on the first day ‘with what you have seen, what can we do better’, which he immediately had good suggestions for"

- John Stecher Christensen, owner, Weldadvice

Who can grow with academic colleagues?

Academics are relevant for all small and medium-sized companies which have growth potential and ambitions, but not enough time or expertise to fulfil their potential. Here are some examples of the kind of companies we mean:

  • Companies which want to achieve international growth and need graduates with expertise in language, culture and history who can operate effectively in a globalised world

  • Companies which need to innovate their business based on general humanistic skills in the fields of communication, analysis, presentation, teaching, culture and the understanding of target groups

  • Companies which want to increase their focus on HR, CSR, ethics, sustainability or other areas which can give their profile a boost

  • Companies which want to develop the interaction between media, IT and digital solutions
